The study, which is set to be published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology, suggests that children interacting with AI assistants may have negative effects on their psycho-social development and cognitive skills. The experts analysed data from 2,500 participants study who had interacted with voice-activated digital assistants such as Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Microsoft Cortana. They found that children who interacted with these assistants more than once per day had lower scores (digitaltrends.com)
